Asa M. Hyde

Asa M. Hyde is a Partner at Kitson, Haffner & Hyde, LLP whose practice is focused on matrimonial and family law, with an emphasis on divorce litigation, custody disputes, parenting time, child support, spousal support, equitable distribution, and divorce mediation. He represents clients in contested and negotiated family-law matters and also offers mediation for parties seeking a more collaborative path to resolution.

Mr. Hyde earned a certificate in divorce mediation through the NYSCDM Divorce Mediation Training Program, approved under Part 146 of the New York State Unified Court System. He also earned certificates in connection with completing the Certified Financial Litigator Exam requirements and the Certified Financial Litigator Training Program through the American Academy for Certified Financial Litigators.

Mr. Hyde was named a Super Lawyers Rising Star for 2025 and 2026. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Westchester County Bar Association, and the New York City Bar Association, and serves as one of the CLE Co-Chairs of the Westchester County Bar Association Family Law Section

He received his B.A. from Hampshire College and his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, where he was an Associate Editor of the Fordham Intellectual Property, Media and Entertainment Law Journal and a Ruth Whitehead Whaley Scholar.
